Features: This textbook has been in circulation for over ten years since its second edition was released in 1982. It has been revised based on the needs of medical and healthcare professionals for teaching and practical use. The principle of this revision is to maintain the original textbook's self-contained system and style. The basic framework of the first and second volumes remains unchanged. Volume III still focuses on general and medical popular science articles, while the second volume covers basic medical knowledge. A small number of texts have been modified and updated to make it a medical English textbook with more contemporary content and difficulty level suitable for current students. These two volumes are intended for general medical school students and working professionals. Volume III has undergone significant changes in content and language. The original text level gradient between the second and third volumes was insufficient, so the intention is to increase the text difficulty and make the content closer to clinical medicine and some new interdisciplinary fields. Volume III can be used as a professional English textbook for students who have passed the CET-4 exam. The first, second, and third volumes are accompanied by a book titled "English Exercise Answers and Reference Translations."
