Features: Since the publication of "Traditional Chinese Medicine Bone and Joint Diseases," it has been reprinted nine times in a row and has played an important role in TCM teaching and promoting the development of orthopedics. In the past decade, TCM and integrated Chinese and Western medicine have developed rapidly, producing a number of valuable scientific research results. Progress has been made in the pathogenesis, pathological changes, and clinical diagnosis and treatment of bone and joint diseases. The application of X-ray computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has provided clearer imaging evidence for the diagnosis of bone and joint diseases. During the writing process of the second edition, we adjusted and supplemented the original content to make it more systematic, scientific, advanced, and practical, better suited for teaching. In terms of content, emphasis has been placed on the key supplementation and revision of osteoporosis, necrotic bone disease, bone tuberculosis, bone carbuncle, bone and joint arthralgia, and spinal degenerative diseases. In terms of writing style, the traditional model has been changed, with a focus on conditions with high incidence, severe harm, and significant therapeutic effects in both TCM and integrated Chinese and Western medicine.
