Features: This textbook is based on the teaching plans for the two majors of stomatology and dental technology issued and implemented by the Ministry of Health in 1994, as well as the teaching syllabus for Stomatology of the stomatology major, and was organized and compiled by the Teaching Materials Office of the Ministry of Health. The guiding principle for compiling the textbook is "de-emphasize disciplinary awareness and enhance goal-oriented thinking." Accordingly, the writing principles of the textbook are as follows:

With the transformation of the medical model, the development of modern medical technology, and the strengthening of preventive concepts, many new achievements have been made in the field of stomatology. Some new concepts, theories, and technologies within this field have been appropriately introduced during the writing process;
3. The textbook pays attention to its ideological, scientific, practical, inspirational, and advanced nature.
