Features: According to the requirements of the "Plan for Formulation and Revision of Engineering Construction Standards in 1992" (Annex II of Document No. 490, Ji-com[1992]) issued by the State Planning and Development Commission, the "Urban Power Planning Code" was jointly formulated by the Ministry of Construction and relevant departments. After joint review by relevant authorities, it was approved as a mandatory national standard with the code GB 50293—1999 and implemented starting from October 1999. This standard is managed by the Ministry of Construction, with the China Academy of Urban Planning and Design responsible for specific interpretations. The Ministry of Construction Standard and Price Research Institute organized the China Architecture & Building Press for publication and distribution.
