Features: The content of this book, "New Edition Concise Barrier-Free Architecture Design Data Collection," was originally compiled from the third volume of the "New Edition Concise Architecture Design Data Collection" series published in 1986. With the advancement of medical technology and the aging of the population, barrier-free design courses have been offered in universities. It might seem somewhat outdated to publish this book at this time, but in recent years, there have been significant changes in the design philosophy of barrier-free environments, specific implementation methods, and institutional aspects, and no fixed models have yet been established. From the perspective of meeting social needs, we believe that editing a comprehensive collection of materials at this time is highly necessary. This book primarily focuses on buildings and their external environments, outlining how to eliminate barriers people encounter in daily life and activities in three parts:
Part I, Space: Summarizes the environmental elements, mobile environments, sanitary facilities, living spaces, and facility spaces of barrier-free design for various facilities.
Part II, Building: Discusses areas still lacking sufficient data, citing the latest research findings.
Part III, Terminology and Legal Systems.
