Features: This book has played a positive role in guiding the production and construction of waterproofing materials since its publication in September 1999. In the more than two years since then, many new standards for waterproofing materials and construction techniques have been issued by the state and relevant departments. Some provinces and cities have issued provincial standards for waterproofing material testing and application technical procedures. At the same time, many standards and construction specifications have been abolished by the state and provincial departments. On July 4, 2001, the Ministry of Construction issued Document No. 27, titled "Notice on Issuing Announcements on Chemical Building Materials and Products," which specified four aspects: the preferred, recommended, restricted, and phased-out waterproofing materials. In accordance with the national chemical building materials industry policy, the "Compendium" has been revised. The revised "Compendium" has added more than 50% new standards. This book includes a total of 66 standards, specifications, and procedures, including 40 material standards and 26 construction specifications and procedures.
