Features: The creations around us profoundly influence our lives and daily activities in a general sense. Generally speaking, Swedish design has had its own trendy concepts on many issues. After achieving success at the 1925 Paris World's Fair, the idea of "Modern Sweden" gradually gained prominence in the 1930s. Its peak came after the 1939 New York World's Fair. However, after World War II, Modern Swedish design, as part of "Scandinavian Design Art," reappeared in Milan every three years. Recently, several multinational companies—primarily Volvo and IKEA—have decided not to overly prioritize their international image and instead closely associate their companies with typical Swedish values—safety, attention to detail, and democratized design for middle-income groups.
