Features: This collection of essays gathers academic papers from senior, mid-career, and young faculty members currently working at the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University. These papers were selected from the numerous academic works of the respective teachers over the years. The subject areas covered are quite broad, and the content is rich, including architectural aesthetics, architectural design theory, architectural typology research, design planning theory, methodology, architectural education, urban planning, urban design, urban renewal, architectural criticism, interior design, and many other fields. However, specialized papers on urban planning theory, Beijing urban planning and construction, specialized papers on architectural aspects, and papers on architectural physics have mostly been separately compiled into the series' volumes "Essays on Architectural History Research," "Essays on Architectural Physics Research," and "Essays on Beijing Urban Planning Research," respectively. These are outside the scope of this book, and it is necessary to note this here.
