Features: During the investigation of building accidents, it was found that over 70% of the accidents were caused by leakage from rooftops and exterior walls. Especially in theaters and cultural halls, more than 80% have experienced leakage incidents. From these cases, whether the causes of the accidents are due to design or construction is debatable, but the accidents themselves are a deeply profound issue. The members of the editorial board analyzed the cases. Finally, it was unanimously agreed that it was necessary to collect the various preventive measures for leakage proposed and compile them into a book.
