Features: This standard was formulated based on a summary of China's research achievements in concrete curbstone, as well as practical experience in production and use, taking into account China's national conditions. The main technical indicators are referenced from German DIN 483-1981 "Concrete Curbstones," European CEN prEN 1340:1993 "Concrete Curbstones," and French NFP 98-302:1982 "Precast Concrete Curbstones and Drainage Channels." The requirements for flexural strength and salt frost resistance tests are equivalent to DIN 483-1981 and CEN prEN 1340:1993 standards. The allowable deviations for dimensions are uniformly set at -3mm for negative values and divided into 3mm, 4mm, and 5mm for positive values, achieving an internationally leading level of dimensional accuracy. The section shapes are directly adopted from DIN 483-1981 and NFP 98-302:1982 standards. The strength grades, based on the Cf6.0, Cf5.0, and Cf4.0 levels in DIN 483-1981 and CEN prEN 1340:1993 standards, include an additional Cf3.0 grade. The water absorption index, according to CEN prEN 1340:1993 standards, does not exceed 6% for high-quality products in China. This standard incorporates relevant content from current concrete curbstone standards of countries such as the UK, the former Soviet Union, and Japan to adapt to China's vast territory, making the technical requirements and testing methods of the standard more scientific, advanced, and reasonable.
