Features: This standard specifies the selection principles for the rated withstand voltage of air insulation, composite insulation, as well as the insulation of tools, devices, and equipment used during live-line work in AC and DC power systems.
This standard applies to the guidance principles for insulation coordination during live-line work in power systems with a systemmaximum voltage greater than AC 1kV and DC 1.5kV.
This standard is not applicable to special cases, i.e., live-line work conducted in environments with pollution or harmful gases, vapors, chemicals, or deposits.
