Features: This book consists of the Electricity Law of the People's Republic of China, the Regulations on Electricity Supply and Use of the People's Republic of China, and its five supporting management measures. These five measures are: Measures for Supervision of Electricity Supply and Use, Measures for Division and Management of Power Supply Operation Areas, Measures for Management of Electricity Inspection, Measures for Handling Damage to Household Appliances of Residential Users, and Rules for Power Supply Operation. These measures and rules were issued by the Decrees of the Power Industry Ministry of the People's Republic of China. The first four measures took effect on September 1, 1996, and the Rules for Power Supply Operation took effect upon promulgation. All power supply enterprises (i.e., power supply companies) and power users (i.e., users) within the territory of the People's Republic of China, as well as individuals and entities related to power supply and use, must comply with the Regulations on Electricity Supply and Use and its supporting management measures.
