1. "China National Standard Collection" is a large-scale comprehensive collection of national standards, which has been published in both hardcover and paperback formats in separate volumes since 1983 according to the sequential numbers of national standards. The Collection reflects, to some extent, the basic conditions and major achievements of China's standardization efforts since the founding of the country, serving as an essential reference for standardized management authorities at all levels, industrial and mining enterprises, agricultural, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishery systems, as well as research, design, and teaching institutions.
2. Due to the dynamic nature of standards, a significant number of national standards are revised annually, and this revision information cannot be reflected in the already published Collection. Therefore, since 1995, an additional collection of revised national standards from the previous year has been published.
3. The revised national standards collection has the same title, version format, and binding style as "China National Standard Collection," and is divided into several volumes based on length, but it does not occupy a sequential volume number. Instead, it is marked with "Revised in 2004 - 1, -2, -3," etc., on the cover and spine as a supplement to the "China National Standard Collection." Readers who purchase it alongside the main Collection can obtain the complete set of newly formulated and revised national standards for the previous year.
4. The standards in each volume of the revised national standards collection are still arranged in ascending order by sequential number (discontinuous). If any are missing, they are supplemented in the final volume of the same year.
5. The revised national standards published in 2004 are divided into 10 volumes. This volume is titled "Revised in 2004 - 4" and includes 61 newly revised national standards.
