Features: The historical and cultural value of a city serves as a compass for its self-development, ensuring it does not lose its way. Urban planning not only requires universal engineering and technical rationality but also demands respect for each city's cultural character. Through the cultural approach of urban planning, the direction of urban development is identified, guiding cities to preserve their memory and individuality amid rapid development. Emphasizing the cultural strategy of urban planning aims to establish a platform for discussing and focusing on urban cultural concepts, summarizing and exchanging practical experiences. Although the discourse on urban cultural concepts is not yet fully systematic, and some planning practices, originating from young urban planners, still appear somewhat immature, these do not hinder our attention to urban culture.
