Publish Date: 2002-09-01
Features: This book is written based on the experience of the Circuit Theory Teaching and Research Office of Tianjin University in summarizing the reform of the circuit theory course. The upper and lower volumes are titled "Fundamentals of Circuit Theory" and "Introduction to Network Theory," respectively. The upper volume has been revised and includes: basic laws of circuits; analysis of resistive circuits; basic theorems of circuits; circuits with controlled sources and operational amplifiers; steady-state analysis of sinusoidal current circuits; three-phase circuits; non-sinusoidal periodic current circuits; time-domain analysis of dynamic processes in linear circuits, complex frequency domain analysis of dynamic processes in linear circuits; nonlinear circuits. The lower volume consists of nine chapters, covering: graph theory and network equations; two-port networks; state variable method; network functions and natural frequencies; network synthesis; signal spectra; discrete-time circuits; steady-state and transient analysis of transmission lines. Each chapter is accompanied by examples and exercises, and the book includes answers to exercises and a reference list at the end. This book can be used as a textbook for undergraduate electrical engineering students in circuit theory courses. The upper and lower volumes can be offered as separate courses or used as teaching materials or reference books for continuing education of engineering professionals.
