Features: With the rapid development of highway construction—especially the construction of high-grade highways—the level of mechanization in highway construction has been continuously improving. The ownership and usage of road construction and maintenance machinery have also been rapidly increasing. Therefore, how to strengthen the use and maintenance of machinery and ensure that it remains in good working condition is a major issue before us. Establishing a sound maintenance system for machinery and developing comprehensive maintenance procedures are important means to enhance the maintenance work of mechanical equipment. In the past, the maintenance and upkeep of road construction and maintenance machinery were mostly carried out according to the technical user manuals provided by manufacturers or the maintenance procedures formulated independently by various regions. This played a positive role in the maintenance and upkeep of machinery. However, with the increasing number of imported machinery and equipment and the continuous emergence of various new models, the requirements for the daily use and maintenance of machinery have become increasingly high. The user manuals provided by manufacturers and the maintenance procedures formulated by various regions vary in content complexity, and some technical indicators are not unified, while others are not compatible with the newly issued relevant standards.
