Features: In times of Taiwan's economic downturn and high unemployment rates, green has always been the best solace for the human heart. This 2002 Landscape Works Feast aims to bring a gentle breeze to soothe our spirits and lead us to a brighter tomorrow. In each issue, we strive for excellence and have also attempted to broaden our perspective, which is no exception this time. In this issue, we have not only categorized the works more clearly but also added detailed archives and commercial landscape collections, with the aim of enhancing the visual appeal and nutritional value of this green feast.
Taking a quick glance and digesting everything at once has always been our habitual approach to appreciating creations. Excessive showiness and dazzling vibrancy are often the standards of general aesthetics, reflecting to some extent the characteristics of our shallow-culture society. But what we want to promote today is a quiet and profound beauty—removing overwhelming stimuli and saturation, replacing them with the satisfaction of careful appreciation. Thus, the "Detailed Archive" section was born.
Details create refinement, and elegance creates lingering charm. This section is designed to encourage people to slow down and gradually accumulate our cultural energy. In modern consumer society, most commercial designs are trendsetting, leading the times. The courtyard landscapes attached to commercial buildings are no exception. The exquisite outdoor landscapes they reveal not only reflect the unique style of each store but also succinctly convey their pride, attracting business opportunities. Thus, our customers are not reluctant to spend money on a temporary wish, and the refined taste of ordinary people for life is also reflected here.
Green is always the best solace for the human heart. After documenting this period of landscape evolution, we sincerely hope that this "2002 Taiwan Landscape Works Collection" will bring us a better tomorrow.
