Features: This "Design, Procurement and Construction (EPC) / Turnkey Project Contract Conditions" (Chinese-English Parallel Edition) is the newly revised English version compiled by the FIDIC (Fédération Internationale Des Ingénieurs-Conseils) according to the latest English edition. It was organized and finalized by experts under the auspices of FIDIC's Chinese member association, the China Engineering Consultancy Association. This book is not an amendment to FIDIC's previous contracts but a completely rewritten and first-published work. It inherits the strengths of FIDIC's original contract conditions while making significant adjustments based on years of practical experience, as well as suggestions and opinions from experts, scholars, and all relevant parties. The book includes the general conditions of Design, Procurement and Construction (EPC) / Turnkey Project contracts, an agreement on dispute resolution with general conditions, a guide for drafting specific conditions, sample forms of guarantee letters, as well as formats for bid forms, contract agreements, and the agreement on dispute resolution. This book is recommended for use in providing processing or power equipment, factories or similar facilities, infrastructure projects, or other types of development projects through a turnkey approach. This method (i) provides greater certainty regarding the final price and required duration of the project, and (ii) entrusts the entire design and implementation responsibilities to the contractor with minimal involvement from the employer. Typically, in turnkey projects, the contractor undertakes all design, procurement, and construction (EPC), delivering a fully equipped facility ("turn the key") that is ready for operation. Target Audience: Engineering consulting firms, departments and organizations engaged in investment, finance, and project management, various types of project owners, construction supervision enterprises, engineering contracting companies, environmental protection enterprises, accounting/law firms, insurance companies, and relevant universities and institutions.
