Features: This series is edited and published specifically for students of basic art training and candidates preparing for the college entrance examination in art. It provides fundamental art guidance and skill review. We have selected common props and basic art training techniques frequently encountered in exam questions, employing special teaching principles and methods to intensify training, enabling students to achieve object modeling and expressive abilities within a short period. Through analyzing and researching past art college entrance examination scenarios, we have summarized a truth: only by laying a solid foundation can one truly benefit. However, many beginners or candidates with some basic art theory often overlook the instructional value of books when choosing practice or foundational reference materials, focusing instead on appreciating the artworks. They lack effective learning methods. In recent years, art college entrance examination questions have predominantly involved memorization, and the scope of topics has also broadened. Therefore, we still emphasize the importance of learning methods. Conducting intensive training in stages and steps, and systematically organizing and reviewing the knowledge learned, are key. We edited and published this series to enable beginners to practice step-by-step, progressing from simple to complex, from individual still lifes to combined still lifes. Detailed analysis, dissection, and understanding of the fundamental principles of sketching and color teaching are provided. We select typical structural forms to help students fully grasp the essential elements of basic shaping. To enable students to master fundamental theories and painting skills within a short period and lay a solid foundation for further in-depth shaping.
