The Trojan War

Author: Zhao Yuan, written by; Guo Jian, illustrated by

Publish Date: 2006-03-01
Features: A war between gods and humans, a duel between prophecy and destiny. They, the great Olympian gods, dominated all of humanity, but could never escape the prophecies of fate. They, the brave heroes, fearless warriors, puppets manipulated by the gods, yet they desired to rebel against their predetermined fate. This novel is based on the Trojan story from Greek mythology, but the plot is more exciting and (tightened), with the depiction of Helen and Paris's love being particularly vivid and striking. If Homer's epic is a "war story" with love as its thread, then this book is a "love story" set against the backdrop of war.
