Features: On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the founding of the Finnish Association of Craft and Design in 2000, DesignForum established a new design award—the Young Designer of the Year Award. In 2001, the award was given to two home interior designers, Eeva Rissasvi and Karola Sassi. The jury highly praised the works of these two designers because in their home interior design concepts, home, lighting, indoor space, and light treatment all well reflect the needs and characteristics of modern home life, and interpret the relationship between children's life habits and home in a brand new and direct design. Eeva and Karola's bold creativity elevate the material of home life to a meaningful level.
