Features: This set of teaching materials and supplementary books is synchronized with the curriculum. Each lesson consists of two parts: Text A and Text B.
Text A includes the following five sections:
1. Pre-reading Guidance
(1) Summary of Content: Provides a concise overview of the main idea of Text A from a macro perspective, analyzes the author's viewpoints and writing purpose to help students learn and understand the text.
(2) Background Knowledge: Introduces typical background knowledge related to the text, helping students gain insights into characters, events, geography, culture, politics, society, and other related information through the language material, thereby broadening their knowledge.
2. Vocabulary and Phrases
(1) Vocabulary: Includes phonetic symbols, parts of speech, English-Chinese definitions, synonyms, antonyms, and derivatives of key words to help students better understand their meanings. For important vocabulary, lists their common meanings and provides example sentences with translations for each meaning.
(2) Phrases: Offers English-Chinese definitions and example sentences for important phrases in the text to help students deepen their understanding of the key points.
3. Text Annotations
Provides English-Chinese explanations of language points in the text; summarizes typical language points; presents concise and practical introductions to language theories; analyzes complex sentences to address issues related to linguistic context, rhetorical devices, writing intent, and writing style.
4. Text Translation
Offers a reference translation of the text to help students understand the content, identify the structure, clarify the theme, learn language knowledge, and improve their comprehension and application skills.
5. Exercise Answers and Explanations
Provides accurate explanations, summaries, and examples for reading comprehension, understanding, vocabulary, grammar, etc., to help students grasp knowledge accurately and overcome difficulties.
Text B includes two parts: Text Translation and Synchronized Testing.
The text translation helps students analyze the macro structure of the passage, while the synchronized testing enhances students' understanding of the text from multiple aspects, such as main ideas, vocabulary, details, and comprehension.
