Features: To meet the needs of a wide range of Japanese learners and test-takers, this series of textbooks for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) was developed based on the question types outlined by the Japan Foundation. It references multiple newly published Japanese JLPT textbooks. The series consists of seven volumes: Analysis of Japanese Idiomatic Expressions, Classification and Analysis of Japanese Onomatopoeia and Mimetic Words, Analysis of Japanese Adverbs, Analysis of Japanese Idiomatic Sentences, Japanese Proficiency Listening Training, Comprehensive Japanese Proficiency Test Questions, and Japanese Basic Grammar Handbook.
Analysis of Japanese Idiomatic Expressions summarizes and organizes approximately 600 commonly appearing, easily confused, and difficult-to-distinguish idiomatic expressions in JLPT tests, categorizing them into over 80 groups based on their meanings. Each group of idiomatic expressions is annotated with explanations of their usage and meanings, and the near-synonymous idiomatic expressions within each group are analyzed. After each group of idiomatic expressions, there are sentence pattern exercises and comparisons with similar phrases. At the end of the book, there is a comprehensive practice set and reference answers for self-assessment, helping students master Japanese idiomatic expressions. This book is primarily suitable for students preparing for the JLPT levels 1, 2, 3, and 4. Due to its reference book nature, it is also a valuable resource for college students, professional Japanese workers, and learners of Japanese.
