Features: The author of this book, based on the background of junior high school mathematics Olympiads in China and abroad, and guided by the new concepts and requirements of the "Full-Time Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards," has written this series of Olympiad teaching materials based on years of experience and insights in training mathematics Olympiad competitors. It provides a guidance for junior high school students with surplus learning capacity and interest in mathematics to showcase their talents and improve their mathematical problem-solving skills, while also offering a scientific and practical training curriculum for junior high school students participating in mathematics competitions. The readership of this series is very broad, suitable for junior high school students and teachers preparing for various junior high school mathematics competitions. The series is divided into two parts: "Teaching Materials" and "Tests." Each part includes four volumes: Junior High Grade 7, Junior High Grade 8, Junior High Grade 9, and Advanced, making a total of eight volumes in the complete set.
The "Teaching Materials" series is written in a thematic format, with each chapter featuring main sections such as "Competition Point Breakthrough," "Example Decoding," and "Super Training." For the Junior High Grade 7, 8, and 9 volumes, the "Super Training" section categorizes questions by difficulty level into multiple-choice questions, fill-in-the-blank questions, and problem-solving questions, allowing students, teachers, and parents to choose according to their needs. The complete book includes detailed solutions to the "Super Training" questions at the end.
The "Tests" series consists of two parts for the Junior High Grade 7, 8, and 9 volumes:
Part 1: Synchronous Tests, which are test papers corresponding to the thematic sections in the "Teaching Materials."
Part 2: Authentic Tests, which select several recent junior high school mathematics Olympiad papers from China and abroad.
The Junior High Advanced volume is divided into three parts:
Part 1: Simulation Tests, which includes 15 test papers drafted by the author.
Part 2: Thematic Tests, which provide targeted reinforcement training on specific mathematical topics.
Part 3: Authentic Tests, which select several recent junior high school mathematics Olympiad papers with higher difficulty levels from China and abroad, with detailed solutions provided for each paper.
Mathematics is the heart of problem-solving, and the Mathematics Olympiad is a competition of problem-solving. To improve problem-solving skills, a certain amount of training is essential. This series selects representative classic examples and provides ample training and test questions. Among these, there are traditional famous problems, excellent problems emerging in China and abroad in recent years, as well as new problems compiled by the author based on their mathematical practice. When designing these questions, the author specifically targets the actual learning needs of students, highlighting key and difficult knowledge points to achieve the goal of improvement.
This series emphasizes the consolidation and enhancement of foundational mathematical knowledge, as well as the integration of scientific and humanistic spirits. It aims to strengthen the cultivation of students' interest in learning, innovative spirit, practical abilities, application awareness, and the ability to analyze and solve problems.
