Features: The "New Precision German Intensive Course" (Revised Edition) consists of five volumes: Basic 1, Basic 2, Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2, and Advanced. This book is the fourth volume, equivalent to the Intermediate Level 2 level specified in the "Teaching Syllabus for Intensive German Training for Study Abroad," and is suitable for students who have completed the Basic German course (540 hours). This textbook, based on the characteristics of short-term intensive training, has corrected the traditional textbooks' shortcomings of emphasizing grammar while neglecting practicality in both language knowledge delivery and communicative competence training. In terms of material selection, the book takes into account students' needs for life, study, and social interaction abroad. The selected texts cover the three major communicative contexts—life, study, and social interaction—and include some passages introducing Chinese history and culture to foreign audiences, enabling students to develop certain bidirectional cross-cultural communication skills. The book strives for diverse and well-balanced exercises in difficulty, focusing on developing students' ability to transition from sentence-level to text-level expression while cultivating the four language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Most exercise content aligns with the themes, allowing for extensive review of relevant contexts and vocabulary, preparing students for the transition to advanced-level learning. All listening texts in this book are accompanied by corresponding audio cassettes.
