Features: The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is a large-scale language ability test organized by the Japan Foundation and the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services (JEES) worldwide. The test began in 1984 and was officially implemented in China in 1993. To date, the test has been established in test centers in 38 countries and regions around the world. The Japanese Language Proficiency Test, as a government-level large-scale language ability test, is jointly organized by the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services and the Japan Foundation. Therefore, the test has several functions, such as scientifically assessing Japanese language proficiency and uniformly evaluating Japanese language levels. Additionally, it serves the function of providing Japanese domestic educational institutions with an evaluation of the Japanese proficiency of international students when accepting them, as well as offering a reference for Japanese-invested companies in China to assess language ability when recruiting employees.
