Features: The Teacher's Manual for Book 5 of "College English" is written for teachers using these two books. To help cultivate students' self-study abilities, students using these books are better off not referring to the Teacher's Manual before class. Each lesson in the Teacher's Manual includes six parts: background introduction, text overview, annotations, classroom questions, exercise answers, and text translation. Some lessons may not have a "background introduction," either because there is no need for one, or because there is little background material available. The annotations section covers language and background knowledge difficulties. Any issues that students can independently solve by consulting general dictionaries or other reference materials are not included in the "annotations" section.
