Features: College French Concise Course was published in September 1995. To facilitate the learning of college students and self-learners, we have compiled this supplementary manual. The manual includes reference translations for all texts and answers to all exercises. Considering the need for beginners to compare and contrast while reading, we have paid close attention to the correspondence between Chinese and foreign languages in the translation while also striving to maintain fluency and adherence to Chinese expression habits. Therefore, the reference translations in this book are not model translations but rather a means to help readers correctly understand the texts. The exercise answers section of this book also deviates from the usual practice of merely providing answers, as it includes both the questions and their solutions, aiming to make it more convenient for readers and save them time. Naturally, the exercise answers provided in this book should be correct, but in some cases—especially for open-ended questions and translation exercises—they may not be the only solutions, and readers are best advised to use this book flexibly under the guidance of their instructors. During the compilation, the authors also made necessary modifications to a few exercises in the original book, which are noted here.
