Features: "Timaeus" is a late work by Plato and an important document of his thought. This dialogue introduces two significant concepts: the carrier as the material source of things, and the form as the structural form that provides form to things. Plato uses geometricized forms to explain the structure of all things and believes that the intrinsic structure of things is their essence. In the first part, Plato discusses the role of the creator, and in the second part, he points out that the formation of the universe is the result of necessary and rational actions. The necessary action is the process of the carrier concept and the geometricization of the form, while the rational bearer, i.e., the generation of humans, is the result of the "persuasion" of reason over necessity. Therefore, the appearance of humans signifies the ultimate realization of cosmic evolution, and the creator achieves himself in his creation: the universe itself is the living god himself.
