Features: This is a woman's resistance. To capture her cold and somber "angel" — the musician Tang Yinzhong, the writer Shui Ye, and the piano student Mo Yuchen begin a flawless collaboration. This is a solitary's escape. A broken childhood, an inescapable emotional abyss, Shui Ye and Tang Yinzhong restrain themselves in loneliness. In the face of fierce reality, they choose to betray, handing over the madness of life to Mo Yuchen. This is an artistic redemption. Through the of time, Mo Yuchen finally realizes that artists have two selves—one is the bright angel, the other is the dark devil—and he only needs to faithfully record it. The scenes depicted in the work are a part of society, and not the life familiar to ordinary people: literature, music. Two temples. Plus love. Indeed, it is dazzling. To enter these two temples and possess love is not an easy task.
In Shui An, there are many characters, but the main ones are actually two women. To be precise, one is the mature, worldly, composed, practical, and determined writer Shui Ye, and the other is the music-loving, naive, and fantasy-filled girl Mo Yuchen. They become friends by chance, and Mo Yuchen becomes a worshipper of Shui Ye. It is difficult to say that Shui Ye is a bad woman; she simply loves literature too much and desires success too eagerly, viewing literature and success as her life. For this "life," she is willing to sacrifice everything, including her body. She believes that even if she has slept with a hundred men, her soul remains pure. In the eyes of worldly concepts, this is hard to understand, hard to identify with, and hard to explain. But it is indeed her way of life, as the saying goes, "The pure will cleanse themselves, and the impure will corrupt themselves." Shui Ye revels in the dual pleasure of career success and physical release in this way of life.
When the innocent Mo Yuchen, full of desires for music and love, fails to gain entry into either, Shui Ye becomes her mentor. Under Shui Ye's guidance and coaching, Mo Yuchen uses her exposed body to seduce the pianist and gives herself to him completely. She waits in terror, pleasure, and unease for success, but what she receives is a catastrophe. However, Mo Yuchen's dire situation is not inevitable; it only becomes a scandal because she was accidentally photographed. What if she hadn't been discovered?
