It will help us uncover the endless mysteries of Dream of the Red Chamber and appreciate the complexities of the world we live in! Most of the "pearls" in this book contain three elements. First, there are insights into the study of Dream of the Red Chamber. Some are unique perspectives, but they are purely for reference and do not claim to hold the truth or demand recognition. The hope is that readers, encountering these viewpoints, will gain new angles for reflection and enjoy the pleasure of exchange. Second, there is a discussion of the specific linguistic "pearls" involved. Some colloquialisms are no longer commonly used in everyday speech, such as "black hen in a nest"—what exactly does it convey? Reference books may not provide current answers, and older generations may also struggle to confirm their meanings. Discussion is necessary, and through it, we can better understand Dream of the Red Chamber and enrich our experience with the vividness and diversity of our national language. Third, from a single specific linguistic "pearl," reflections and insights on our shared social reality, the human condition, and even human nature are generated.
