Features: Zhou Zuoren had two periods in his life when he wrote classical-style poems on a larger scale. The first was from 1937 to 1945, with his works compiled into two groups: one titled Kuchadian Duyu Shi (Bawdy Poems from Kuchadian), consisting of 24 poems, which was later included in Lichun Yiqian (Before Spring); the other titled Kuchadian Duyu Shi Buyi (Supplementary Bawdy Poems from Kuchadian), consisting of 20 poems. The second period was from 1946 to 1949, mainly written during his imprisonment in the Tiger Bridge Prison in Nanjing, hence the title Tiger Bridge Miscellaneous Poems. This book includes Paoju Miscellaneous Poems (13 poems), Zhongshe Miscellaneous Poems (20 poems with one additional), Yesterday (30 poems), Miscellaneous Poems of the End of the Year in Bingwu (11 poems), and Miscellaneous Poems in the Heat of Dinghai (30 poems).
