How is cerebral palsy treated in children?

Patient's question:

At half a year old, my daughter has had a problem with tilting her head back and blinking rapidly for over a year. When she experiences an episode, her head tilts up, her eyelids blink very quickly, and it lasts for about 3-4 seconds. Her legs also become unsteady, and she feels dizzy. After the blinking, her eyes also hurt. Could you please ask the experts what kind of illness this is and how it should be diagnosed?

Doctor's answer:

Hello! Sudden stiffness in the child: It may be difficult to dress the child in certain positions, such as when they are lying down, bending their body, or when hugging them. Flaccidity: The baby's head and neck are soft and cannot be lifted. When held upside down, their limbs hang limply. The baby rarely moves. Developmental delay: Learning to lift their head, sit up, and use their hands is slower than that of peers. They may use one part of their body more than another, such as: some children often use only one hand instead of both. Poor feeding: Difficulty with sucking and swallowing. The tongue often pushes milk and food out. Difficulty closing the mouth. Abnormal behavior: They may be overly crying, easily irritable, have poor sleep, or be very quiet, sleeping too much, or not smiling by 3 months.
