Features: First and foremost, the characteristics of the topic itself. The movement of law and development has been intertwined with the modernization efforts of the Third World or developing countries from the very beginning. The current movement of law and development, in addition to continuing and developing the early themes of growth and legal transplantation, has also incorporated two new threads: globalization and social transformation. Clearly, to address this topic effectively, the perspective and strength of any single discipline are insufficient. In other words, research on this topic requires multidisciplinary, multi-field, and cross-disciplinary and cross-field efforts. Second, based on China's current development and needs, the following aspects are identified as key points: (1) The fundamental issues involved in the movement of law and development, especially the new wave of law and development that emerged in the 1990s; (2) The development of the movement of law and development in representative countries and regions such as Latin American countries, former socialist countries, East Asia, India, and some African countries; (3) Reflections on the theory and practice of law and development; (4) Topics closely related to China's current reforms.
