Features: As editors of a popular science magazine, we often receive letters from student readers who hope to recommend a series of science books that cover a broad range of knowledge and are up-to-date. After thorough market research, we found that although bookstores are filled with science books, most of them suffer from narrow scope and outdated content. To address this, we organized experts, scholars, and some outstanding teachers from the frontline of education to jointly compile this series of science books—“What You Can’t Learn in Class, But Everyone Needs.” This series has three major features: First, it covers a wide range of knowledge. The entire series consists of 18 volumes, basically encompassing all aspects of life and study for primary and secondary school students. Second, the language is easy to understand, emphasizing scientific accuracy, modernity,, and knowledge. Third, many of the contents are closely linked to textbooks, greatly helping students to thoroughly understand the textbook material. We believe that this series will not only help students firmly grasp textbook knowledge but also greatly promote their interest in learning, inspire their thinking, and broaden their horizons.
