Patient's question:
HypospadiasDoctor's answer:
Epididymal hyperplasia in children is a normal phenomenon. As age increases and the penis develops, the foreskin can retract on its own, exposing the glans. There is no need for premature surgery. If there is recurrent infection, adhesion between the glans and foreskin, accumulation of smegma in the foreskin cavity, or narrowing of the foreskin orifice, the foreskin orifice can be dilated with forceps under local anesthesia, the adhesion can be separated, the smegma can be cleared, and erythromycin ointment can be applied to the glans. Afterward, daily cleaning of the foreskin should be paid attention to to prevent re-adhesion.
