How is it better to treat seminal vesicle cysts

Patient's question:

First blood in semen this March, self-treating for a week, recovered. In early May, blood in semen appeared again. That night, I felt uncomfortable all over, chills, and weakness. After being away on a business trip for 6 days, I started treatment (Yuhuangding, Yantai). Two weeks after the treatment began, my body discomfort reduced.

Doctor's answer:

Symptomatic seminal vesicle cysts often require surgical treatment. Traditional treatment methods include transrectal cyst aspiration, transurethral resection of the cyst cap, and seminal vesicle resection, among others. Transrectal cyst aspiration is only used for diagnosis and treatment of recurrent cysts due to its high recurrence rate and risk of infection. Transurethral resection of the cyst cap is less commonly performed because it is prone to complications such as urine reflux, postoperative dripping, and infection.
