Features: Pan Guangliang, born in Baoying County, Jiangsu. He was born on August 13, 1999, in Luodian Town, Baoying County, and passed away on June 10, 1967, in Beijing. From 1913 to 1922, he studied at Tsinghua School in Beijing. From 1922 to 1926, he studied biology in the United States, specializing in genetics and eugenics, and obtained bachelor's and master's degrees. Upon returning to China in 1926, he taught at universities such as Guanghua and Fudan in Shanghai from 1926 to 1934. From 1934 to 1952, he served as a professor at Tsinghua University and the Southwest Associated University in Kunming. He also held positions as the Academic Dean of Tsinghua University and the Southwest Associated University, the Head of the Sociology Department, and the Director of the Tsinghua University Library. In 1952, he was transferred to the Central Institute for Nationalities as a professor. This volume is a collection of articles, compiled from 1914 to 1934, with a total of over 410,000 words. The content covers various aspects of society, making it extremely broad. The writing styles include academic papers, essays, reports, research, prefaces, book reviews, and more, showcasing diverse flavors. The articles are relatively concentrated on topics such as family and ethnicity, education and talent, cultural comparisons between the East and the West, and sex education.
