Where to get a circumcision

Patient's question:

Now I have excessive foreskin and want to find a better hospital for treatment.

Doctor's answer:

It's best to go to a larger hospital. If you choose a smaller hospital, the surgery fee might be cheaper, but the postoperative anti-inflammatory care and treatment can be deadly. In the end, the total cost ends up being about the same as that of a large hospital. Large hospitals do a good job with both the surgery and the anti-inflammatory care, giving you no worries. This is a matter concerning a man's sexual health, so don't be tempted by cheap options.
The large hospital I went to was a Level 3 Grade A facility, specializing in urology, specifically for circumcision. The entire process took only about 15 minutes. The only sensation was a slight sting when the anesthetic was administered. There was no pain during the procedure, and no pain afterward either. The only discomfort was the morning erections on the second and third days, which would tear the wound and cause pain. I would wake up 4 to 5 times each night due to the pain, but it wasn't a big deal—just take a moment to calm down, and you can keep sleeping.
Beyond that, from the surgery to full recovery, I didn't feel any pain. You can shower after one week, and you can resume intimate relations after 30 to 45 days.
As for the cost: the surgery fee was around 700 to 800 yuan. For postoperative anti-inflammatory care, which lasted three days, it cost 80 yuan per day. This included topical anti-inflammatory medication, bandaging, and wound changes, as well as an intravenous drip for anti-inflammation. I only had to go twice, though the requirement was three times. Later, I found out what the medication was—the drip was ciprofloxacin solution, and the anti-inflammatory medicine was povidone-iodine. I went to the pharmacy to get them myself. The pharmacy had ready-to-use povidone-iodine solution, already diluted and prepared, so you just need to use it directly. Each day, I used cotton swabs to wipe the area, changed the gauze, and took some ciprofloxacin tablets, which come in boxes and are used for anti-inflammation. (Amoxicillin can also be used for anti-inflammation.)
