Features: "Yi Xue Yu Sheng Tai" is one of the "Yi Xue Zhi Hui Cong Shu" series organized by the Dong Fang International Yi Xue Research Institute. The highly valuable ecological and environmental thoughts and perspectives embedded in Yi Xue need to beed and utilized for practical purposes. In the face of China's severe environmental challenges today, revisiting the ecological and environmental thoughts of Yi Xue makes one realize that we have failed to inherit our excellent traditional culture properly and have lost too much. The concepts of "restraint," "harmony between heaven and humanity," and "great harmony" in Yi Xue, as well as Confucianism's "regulating and restraining at the right time" theory, are golden rules that must not be violated. The current deterioration of the environment is largely due to the pursuit of economic benefits without regard for environmental consequences, which violates the ecological and environmental principles of Yi Xue. "Yi Xue Yu Sheng Tai" primarily covers three aspects: first, the ecological and environmental concepts in Yi Xue, uncovering the ecological and environmental thoughts within Yi Xue. Second, the historical development of ancient Chinese ecological and environmental thoughts influenced by Yi Xue. Third, how to draw on historical experience to manage the environment in the face of China's severe current environmental challenges. This arrangement of content aims to help readers not only understand the excellent ecological and environmental thoughts of ancient people and their historical evolution but also grasp the current environmental challenges and countermeasures, thereby inspiring readers to prioritize environmental protection and enhance their awareness of safeguarding the environment. The Earth is the only one we have, and protecting the environment is protecting ourselves. As humanity has progressed to where it is today, no one wants to destroy themselves. Therefore, please start with every small step to protect our home, protect the environment, and protect the Earth.
