Features: The book titled "Important Thought of 'Three Represents'—Interpretation from the Perspective of Modernization," presented before us, is the result of the collective efforts of all comrades at the Institute of Scientific Socialism of the Beijing Academy of Sciences. From the perspective of modernization, they have conducted reflection, research, and exploration on the Important Thought of 'Three Represents.' This is their latest achievement in years of research on the Important Thought of 'Three Represents,' as well as the final outcome of the 2003 Beijing Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Project titled "Important Thought of 'Three Represents' and the New Stage of China's Modernization Development." As the subtitle "Interpretation from the Perspective of Modernization" states, the book takes modernization as the starting point, examines the Important Thought of 'Three Represents' within the broader context of modernization construction, and proposes that the Important Thought of 'Three Represents' is the development theory for the new stage of China's modernization and a new advancement of Deng Xiaoping's development theory. This perspective helps to more clearly illustrate that the Important Thought of 'Three Represents' holds significant guiding significance not only for the construction of the Party but also for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Closely linking the Important Thought of 'Three Represents' with modernization construction is the greatest feature and the main innovation of this book.
