What are the common symptoms of prostatitis?

Patient's question:

Recently, I've been experiencing a lot more frequent urination over the past 1-2 weeks..
I go to work in the morning and have nothing to do in the afternoon,
so I just stay home and browse the internet. How come I suddenly have a strong urge to urinate, and the amount of urine is also quite large.
When I'm working during the day, I walk around, and there's no issue with urination.
It's only when I sit at home browsing the internet without moving that I urinate more.
Is this a medical condition?
Also, there are a few red granules with a bit of white substance in the urethral opening. The white granules can be seen outside the urethral opening.
Am I suffering from prostatitis?~~~

Doctor's answer:

Hello, prostatitis can cause pain and discomfort in the perineum, suprapubic area, groin area, and genital region. Urinary symptoms include a burning sensation during urination, urinary urgency, frequent urination, and dysuria. Sometimes, it may be accompanied by terminal hematuria or purulent urethral discharge. Acute infections may also be accompanied by chills, fever, and fatigue.
Patients with bacterial prostatitis often experience severe local and systemic symptoms, such as significant perineal pain, difficulty urinating, or fever. Patients with bacterial prostatitis should rest in bed, maintain regular bowel movements, and replenish fluids appropriately. It is best to actively take treatment measures.
