Reading's Rings of Years（《Light of Milan Kundera and Others》）

Author: Han Shao Gong

Publish Date: 2004-03-01
Features: Against the trend of vulgarity yet unable to eradicate it, the historically unchosen is now being determinedly chosen. Is this a pointless ramble or a profound debate? Like a handful of rare writers, Kundera uses novels to speak without words, in silence containing harsh truths, and in eloquence harboring beautiful promises. All events that have happened on earth have been rewritten countless times, yet no one has ever thought to verify what actually occurred. Human history is repeatedly rewritten, and people no longer know who they are.
