About the Author: Jin Xide was born in Yanji City in 1954. He graduated from the Department of Political Science at Yanbian University in 1982 and completed his master's degree in the History of Japanese Philosophy at Yanbian University in 1985. He joined the university as a lecturer and later went to the United States as a visiting scholar at the Department of Political Science of the University of Connecticut in July 1986. From March 1989, he pursued his doctoral studies in International Politics at the Graduate School of Comprehensive Cultural Studies, Tokyo University. He obtained his academic doctorate in March 1994. That same summer, he joined the Institute of Japan Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He is currently a researcher, deputy director of the Center for China-Japan Relations, and director of the Department of International Relations. Additionally, he holds several social positions, such as deputy secretary of the China-Asia-Pacific Association and standing council member of the China Society of Japan Studies. He has been awarded the Special Allowance and Certificate by the State Council.

In addition, he has contributed to writing over 20 books and has published more than 100 papers on Japanese diplomacy, China-Japan relations, and Northeast Asian issues both domestically and internationally.
Abstract: This book primarily studies the relationship between China and Japan, discussing the characteristics and trends of China-Japan relations as well as research methods.
