Features: Grammar was once called "writing rules," referring to the rules of word usage and sentence construction, which give language an organized and understandable nature. An internal language often includes many dialects. The differences between these dialects are mainly reflected in phonetics and vocabulary, with little variation in grammar. Grammar is naturally formed during the development of a language and is a product of the masses. When we use this language, we must adhere to its grammar. This book, A Study of Grammar, is a general work by Mr. Lü Shuxiang, which provides detailed explanations on language units and written units, complete sentences and half-sentences, actions and characters, quantity, indication and substitution, modification and supplementation, among other topics. A Study of Grammar was originally a column in a magazine, and it is now used as the book title, not entirely because no more appropriate wording could be found. When writing the drafts, there was indeed a desire to avoid a book-like format, with only a brief introduction at the beginning of each piece, followed by the arrangement of meaningful facts and the inclusion of thought-provoking questions to allow readers to learn on their own. Although later practices did not achieve this goal, the aspiration remains, and this title was retained, partly as self-motivation and partly as a reminder to readers that this is the most effective learning method.
