All his published poems and prose, except for recent works, have been personally edited and compiled by him for publication. Since the first poetry collection, The Ballad of the Fisherman, was published in 1952, he has released eighteen poetry collections, ten prose collections, five literary criticism collections, and one translation and commentary collection. This Collected Works of Yu Guangzhong is organized into nine volumes, categorizing the aforementioned works. Within each category, the works are arranged in chronological order of publication.
