If it is confirmed as candidiasis, a 2%--4% baking soda solution can be used to rinse the external genitalia and vagina or for sitz baths, with 10 days constituting a course, to alter the pH and create conditions unfavorable for mold survival. Then, Nystatin can be selected, such as powder, tablets, suppositories, or ointment, to be inserted into the vagina or applied locally, with 10--20 million units each time, once nightly, for a 10--14-day course. The external genitalia can be treated with 3% miconazole ointment for better results. Due to the stubbornness and recurrence of this condition, local treatment is generally the primary approach.
