He has published specialized works such as "Luo Jiang's Freehand Figure Painting" and "Red Land Feeling—Luo Jiang." Luo Jiang's artistic style features distinct expressionist characteristics. The unrestrained and spontaneous brushwork creates a rough yet refined style, neither sloppy in artistry nor vulgar in taste. His paintings reveal subtlety amidst roughness, sincerity within the strange, and discipline amidst the wild. He has many unique techniques in brushwork and meticulous craftsmanship. He combines the randomness of literati painting with the richness of artistic expression, thereby distancing himself from the simplistic and crude "quick brushwork" popular style. In simplicity, he reveals a wealth of diverse brushwork and ink charm, profound and dense.
