Features: Lin Huiyin (1904–1955), this brilliant architect and writer who shone brilliantly in the past century, was not recognized until the mid-1980s of the 20th century when her first literary work, Lin Huiyin Poetry Collection, was published posthumously. At that time, few readers knew her name, and even professionals in the study and teaching of modern Chinese literature often knew little about her and had not included her in the scope of literary historians. Soon, due to the "Xu Zhimo craze," her name frequently appeared in the media. The TV drama A Dream of April in the World was broadcast, and Lin Huiyin had almost become a household name. However, the historical figure Lin Huiyin is far removed from the image of a romantic and passionate woman portrayed in modern media! During her lifetime, Lin Huiyin disliked being called "Mrs. Liang." Yet now, she is known to posterity through another man who was not a doctor. How would she feel in the afterlife, given this disparity? A centennial commemoration of Lin Huiyin has already been held. As a successor, compiling a Collected Works of Lin Huiyin that strives to encompass all her writings, fragments, and words serves not only to honor the great figure but also to correct errors and misconceptions, allowing the world to recognize through The Collected Works of Lin Huiyin an outstanding woman of great personal charm and literary talent.
