Features: "Financial Director Series #8226; Listed Company Case Series" is a sub-series of the "Financial Director Series," consisting of the following six books: "The Mystery of Numbers—Financial Analysis Cases of Chinese Listed Companies," "The Accumulation of Funds—Capital Raising Cases of Chinese Listed Companies," "The Distribution of Interests—Dividend Distribution Cases of Chinese Listed Companies," "The Effect of Mergers and Acquisitions—Asset Restructuring Cases of Chinese Listed Companies," "Lessons from Failure—Financial Failure Cases of Chinese Listed Companies," and "The Cost of Violations—Fraud Cases of Chinese Listed Companies." The features can be summarized as follows:
1. All cases are drawn from the practical experience of Chinese listed companies, with concentrated and novel material closely related to the Chinese context. They include both successful experiences and lessons from failures. Whether successful or unsuccessful, these cases provide practical inspiration and guidance for corporate financial managers.
2. Each case provides a detailed description of the situation, followed by in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis. Highlighted comments are included when introducing and analyzing the cases, and each case concludes with a theoretical summary that connects to practical application.
3. The selection of cases is both systematic and thematic, with a clear focus. Systematicity refers to the six books in this series covering as many main contents of financial management as possible. Thematicity refers to the concentration of each book on a specific issue in financial management. Financial failure is a fundamental crisis that threatens a company's sustainable operations. Whether it manifests as massive losses or continuous losses, inability to repay due debts, insolvency, or bankruptcy, these overt signs of financial failure will become severe events affecting a company's survival, development, and sustainable operations. "A frozen inch is not formed in a single day," and financial failure in listed companies is not sudden but a gradual accumulation process. Financial crises, while dangerous and distressing, also present opportunities and chances. If people can deeply understand the mechanisms behind corporate failures, learn from the lessons, summarize the experiences, and fully leverage their subjective initiative and creativity, it may be possible to improve a company's financial condition and turn the tide. The writing of this book is based on two main purposes:
1. Through an in-depth analysis of financial failure cases, specifically explore the causes of financial failure in listed companies;
2. Through a review and reflection on financial failure cases, summarize the lessons, experiences, and insights left by these cases.
